.. as a chip off the old ice block, of course! Above is another icy abstract, a moment frozen in time transformed into an iridescent panel of art.Have you blocked off time to be creative this week? Would you like to? How so? What would you do? Or do you find yourself frozen up against a creative block? If so, you may wish to take a little time off and think outside the blocks.
Here's the original icy pond soaking in the winter sun:
Enjoy the seasonal beauty!

Very interesting. Hmmm.... a little time to be creative. Perhaps I will! :)
Beautiful! My creativity involves making my own greeting cards (rubber stamping) and the little photography I try to do! I may find more time for that - now that taxes are done!

good golly girl, look what you created from that b/w photo! For a girl who finds photo manipulation software somewhat beyond her, I am so impressed with this beautiful piece :-)
I'm able to spend time in my loft everyday, and am so thankful that I can.
It's so much fun playing with photo editing. I'm involved in an online project that requires a piece of "art" to go with someone else's writing. I'm still tweaking my submission. :)
That's really neat. Love the colors.
I need to start a drawing for April's giveaway. Thanks for the nudge in the right direction.
That art piece is gorgeous!
I had no time to be creative, I am afraid. Time flies and before we know the week has gone. It's wonderful that you have time to do your artwork! Have a great week!
i'd love to write more poems but have to let the muse find me again. i write them as they come to me. otherwise i enjoy taking photographs. love your abstract. it's pretty neat. hope all is well. have a great night.
Well said and beautiful photos!
Btw; Thanks for the visit and nice comments - seams like you enjoy winter the same as we do in Norway :-)
I like your play on words. Your frozen pond is beautiful as is or as abstract art.
Loved the art! But i am not very good at it myself!
I found your blog true Dawn from Puzzle pieces and i love to get to know you blogging a bit better!
Thanks!

My middle son, the graphic designer in Chicago, likes to do the photo editing & my oldest son likes to actually paint abstracts. He just completed another 3 picture 'set', not sure what it's correctly called. Very cool & I really like the colors in Yours!! :-)
WOW!
That is really beautiful...you know, it would be cool to have that as scrapbook paper! Imagine the colors I could combine with that...great idea!
YES, I have since I am 'tracked-out'...I've had a lot of time to be creative, aka; scrapbooking, writing and cleaning! Oh yeah, that's right, cleaning is NOT creativity!
Thinking outside the blocks...yes- I surely need time for this.
But it seems I can't get away from the average sun spot.....
I can't even imagine what I would do first!
Love your pictures.
Looks pretty cool!
Wow, I like the swirly irridescence of your creativity.
The icy abstract is spectacular! Reminds me of an...encaustic! But, so delicate! I love it.
