Winter Walk at Hemlock Creek
A one-lane bridge spans a crisp passage of water through banks soft with snowfall. This was the scene last Friday at the Bedford Reservation, a Cleveland Metropark in Walton Hills, Ohio.
The magic of a winter creek decorated by a fresh-fallen snow.
Hemlock Creek winds its meandering way through the surrounding woods.
The grand finale: A memory of autumn brightens a winter creekside.

These are great shots of peaceful winter scenes. Love the first one of the bridge, and the last one with the touch of autumn.
Beautiful shots. But where are the hemlocks? They were my favorite tree growing up in the Alleghenies.
These are so beautiful! But I really favor the last one with splashes of orange from a fading "fall". Nice work!
Beautiful Photo's
CC! These images are gorgeous in the extreme. The leaf color is stunning. It sneaks in from a distance and then the close up shot produces a sweet surprise.
These images are a good argument for living is an area that has seasons. Not so much like this here at all.
These are really beautiful shots of winter. I really like that last one with the splash of orange leaves across the right side.
Nice photos. Any of them would make a great painting. Do you have that in mind?
How come though that you have such great snow while we here just below the continental divide have so little this year. And actually I love snow.
God bless and Happy New Year.
Wow this is beautiful, what a talented photographer you are! I love the location too, Ohio is always near and dear to my heart.
Thanks so much for visiting my new blog and the introduction! It's a pleasure to meet you and I look forward to following you.
All the best~

Thank-you for your nice comment at my blog. I'm glad you enjoyed my artwork. I love revisiting the places that I've painted at before. The light always changes; resulting in a different composition. Your photo's are beautiful; have you ever tried painting there in the spring. I'm sure that painting would look lovely too!
Bye,
Richardson.
Well as a gal who loves winter, these photos are a delight for my eyes! Beautiful.
Janie, EcoRover, Montanagirl, Blue Jean Blankets Plus, Annie, Mary, Plumrose Lane and Teresa Mallen: Thank you very much for all your kind compliments!
Gary Keimig and Richardson: Actually, any canvas that saw me coming paintbrush in hand would turn and run the other way! Photography's much more my thing. Glad I can look to you among others for paintings to enjoy.
These photos are just so wonderful! I need to take a trip to the mountains so I can experience the clean crisp cold air again!
Hi CountryDreaming,
Thank you for your nice comment on my site, I'm glad your enjoying the series. The Westcoast of British Columbia where I live is basically a rainforest; our winters a quite mild too. I hope your winter in Ohio wasn't to bad.
Bye,
Richardson.
I love winter.
Beautiful pictures.
Thanks so much for coming by my blog. Your photos are awesome.
