This study in transformative otherworldly geography is a new fine art photograph of mine that I'm working on together with a series of similar images. The abstract closely resembles what you would see if you were a space alien hovering above a planet to be explored for the purpose of colonization.
"I'd like to make myself believe
That planet Earth turns slowly
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay
Awake when I'm asleep
'Cause everything is never as it seems."

This is otherworldly, your use of colour draws our eye in a sweeping 'S' across the photograph and meld well together. These are going to make stunning pieces especially placed side by side, what an visual impact.
Thank you so much for praying for me, I appreciate your concern.
I may be lumping a number of techniques into one and calling it encaustics. I've seen artist who use a pigmented wax and hot iron and paint as you've said, when they added things like sand to their prep work it did wind up looking like rusty metals. I also love assemblages that then layer in either wax or resins, the results are quite amazing.
Oh wow, I love how you alter the photos! The colors in this one are particularly pleasing together.
Oh, I would love to hear how you "fell" into photography too! :)
This is beautiful. I do wish I could transform my photos into half as wonderful as yours.
Take care my friend,

The colors and composition are gorgeous!! Amazing!
A stunning, absolutely fabulous abstract! The colours are delicious. Congratulations!
Was beginning to worry about you, had not seen you on the blogs anywhere for awhile, then I noted your comment on Mary's blog and realized you are snowed under doing all that organizing and decluttering :-) That would keep a girl busy! Hope you love the results and feel very creative in your organized space!
